What to expect with our training programs

Assessment First

We start by understanding where you are. Your movement patterns, training history, and what's held you back before. No workout until we have a plan.

Custom Programming

Every session is built for you. Your program adapts based on how you're recovering, what's working, and the progress you're making week to week.

Progress Tracking

We track your lifts, measurements, and how you feel so you can actually see what's changing. No guessing—just data and steady improvement.

“I trained with Robert at Better Bodies in Kitsilano for over a year. He's the kind of trainer who actually listens to what you need and adjusts on the fly. I came in with some nagging shoulder issues and he worked around them while still pushing me to get stronger. No ego, no nonsense, just solid coaching.”

— Daniel Crough

“Working with Robert has been one of the best decisions I've ever made for my health. I was apprehensive that this type of training wouldn't be for me but he is he incredibly knowledgeable, builds well-designed workouts, and I can't believe how much stronger and healthier I feel. I would highly highly recommend.”

- Amy Pelletier

“Joining Coast Athletics for personal training was the best health decision I have made as an adult. Robert is an incredibly knowledgeable trainer with a great attitude. He took care to understand my current limitations/pain points and carefully structured our sessions to rebuild strength and mobility that moved me away from potential injuries while improving my capabilities in the gym. Highly recommended!”
